From across the water: “The Moors” is a riveting play focused on themes of dark comedy and power. Get your tickets now as there is limited seating.

The Washburn University Theater department presents to you “The Moors”, a dark comedy production by Jen Silverman, an accomplished American playwright and writer.
The production is set to have its opening night this weekend on Friday, April 9 at 7:30 pm inside the Neese-Gray University Theatre. The following dates to be able to attend this event is April 10, 15 and 16, all at 7:30 pm as well as April 11 at 2:00 pm.
Admission is free to all Washburn students, Chartwells employees, WU-Tech, staff and faculty, while general admissions for everyone else is $10 per ticket.
“The Moors” dives into the lives of two sisters and their dog living in dreary England, dreaming of a life filled with love and power. Their journey begins when their path crosses with a hapless governess and a moor-hen as all three are on a strange and dangerous path.
If you’re interested in stories of love, desperation and visibility; “The Moors” might just be for you.
