From April 10 through June 10, the Phi Theta Kappa Alumni of Washburn (PTKAW), will be accepting donations of new or gently worn shoes or boots for Doorstep Inc. to distribute to people in need in the Topeka area. 

This is the seventh annual shoe drive and donation boxes will be located at different points around campus, including  Henderson Center, outside room 116 by the vending machines,  Mabee Library in the main entrance, Benton Hall in the second floor lobby, Union Underground, Living Learning Center lobby until May 10, Morgan Hall in the Welcome Center, Lincoln Hall lobby until May 10 and Petro Allied Health Center in School of Nursing Room 204

The PTKAW Shoe Drive accepts all kinds and sizes of shoes and boots. Their past drives have collected over 1,400 pairs of shoes for people in need. Questions regarding the shoe drive can be emailed to [email protected].
