The Dolphin Swimming club will hold tryouts for membership tonight and Thursday according to the club president, Marcia Miller. Tryouts will be held at the Whiting Field House pool at 8:30 p.m.

Membership in the club is open to those students with swimming ability and who pass the membership tryouts. Tryouts consist of an ability demonstration in the American crawl, breast strokes, sidestroke, racing back stroke, and deck dive. One does not need to have exceptional ability to try out, merely an interest in swimming and the club.

As a yearly project the club presents a synchronized swimming show in the spring semester. The theme for this year’s show has not been selected but several possibilities have been discussed.

Other officers of the club are Barbara Beal and Barbara Dewey. Miss Kathleen Fajen is club sponsor.
