Mrs. Roosevelt to speak at Auditorium this Thursday

Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt will be presented in a public address February 12, at 8:15 p.m. in the Municipal Auditorium. She is being brought here by the Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary teachers society for women.

Mrs. Roosevelt will speak on “Russia, the Country and the People as I Saw Them.” The address is open to the public. Tickets may be obtained at the door Thursday night.

The Washburn chapter of Pi Alpha Sigma, political science fraternity, under the direction of Pete Caldwell, will usher.

Preceding the lecture, member of the Sigma chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will entertain at a dinner at the Hotel Jayhawk. The dinners limited to members and invited guests. Governor George Docking and Mrs. Docking, Mayor and Mrs. George Schnellbacker, President and Mrs. Bryon S. Stoffer, Dr. and Mrs. Karl Menninger, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Whitson, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. W. Kesler, Mrs. Ada Montgomery, Mrs. Bernice Milne, Mrs. Constance Gardner, and Mrs. Catherine Brandenburg are invited guests.
