Angel Flight, the women’s honorary organization of AFROTC, has many optimistic plans for second semester.

“This Thursday will be the first time that we will wear our new uniforms,” Ardith Rogers, flight commander said. The uniforms consist of navy blue dresses, jackets, and heels with white gloves. The Angel Flight members will wear their uniforms to the Military Ball, federal inspection, and many other important functions.

Miss Rogers said, “After federal inspection, we intend to pledge ten to fifteen new members. By the end of this semester we hope to have twenty girls in Angel Flight.”

To be eligible for the honorary group, the women must be full time students, upper classmen, and have a high over-all grade average.

The girls who are now in Angel Flight are Glenda Jasperson, Ardith Rogers, Sandra Shaw, Joe Meek, Sallie King, Cynthia Hubble, and Janyce Brodline.
