Washburn University will be collaborating with the American Red Cross for hands-on CPR training. The event is scheduled to take place from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. this Thursday, June 6 in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. This is a free event and all students and faculty are highly encouraged to attend.

No background knowledge of CPR is required to attend the event. While no certifications will be issued through the training, participants will still learn important and potentially life-saving skills to provide quick emergency assistance until paramedics arrive.

Be sure to take advantage of this free opportunity to acquire skills that could one day save a life.
