Students learn to salsa

The Washburn University Dance Club partnered with the Kansas State University Salsa and Swing Club Thursday to provide free salsa dancing lessons to the Washburn community.

The groups offered lessons in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Cynthia Neufeld Smith, accompanist, plays the piano along with the choir. She has taught organ and accompanied the choirs at Washburn University and serves as assistant organist at the First Presbyterian Church.
