Tuesday, Nov. 11, 7 p.m., room 100, Henderson Learning Resources Center Faces of Homelessness: Topeka Rescue Mission panel discussion will allow people to gain a better understanding of situations in life that lead someone to homelessness while being able to put a face to the reality of this saddening lifestyle. Residents of the Topeka Rescue Mission and former homeless individuals will discuss their experiences. The Topeka Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry dedicated to providing food, shelter, clothing, training, and hope to homeless and improving men, women, and children. Thursday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m., International House OxFam America Hunger Banquet, lead by OxFam Change leaders, will guide participants through a meal based on class structure and degree of poverty.
