Immigration topic of presentation Tuesday

Brian Niehoff will talk about “The Cultural Adaptation and Expectation of Immigrant Workers in Ireland and Beyond” at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in room 112 of Henderson Learning Resources Center at Washburn University. No admission is charged and the public is welcome. Niehoff is the department head of the management department within the College of Business Administration at Kansas State University and also serves as the Cargill Faculty Fellow. He received a Ph.D. from Indiana University.

The event is part of the 2008 research seminar series hosted by Washburn School of Business and sponsored by Kaw Valley Bank.

The final presentation in the series will be at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in Henderson 112. Washburn School of Business faculty David Price and Michael Stoica will talk about “The Relationship of Resources to Strategy and Firm Performance: Factors Influencing the Growth of Small Firms.”
