Emergency blood drive set at Washburn University

TOPEKA – The Washburn University chapters of the American Medical Student Association and Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society are hosting an urgent need blood drive for the Community Blood Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the lower level of Petro Allied Health Center on the Washburn University campus. At present, the Center’s inventory of several blood types is very low: B positive, O negative and A negative are each at half-day supplies. AB negative is at a .2 day supply.
