Tunes at Noon presents Steve Means

TOPEKA – Touted by colleges as the next John Mayer, 22-year-old Steve Means will perform from at Tunes at Noon from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, on the main floor lobby area, Memorial Union, Washburn campus. The event is free. Means combines his signature vocals with smooth grooves and powerful, open lyrics to deliver his unique acoustic-driving stage show. He has been featured on MTV’s “Newport Harbor” and “The Hills.” He released his first full length CD, “Rescue Me,” in February 2007. With influences ranging from Dave Matthews to Stevie Wonder, “Rescue Me” embodies the essence of Means’ irresistible vocals, sweet grooves and lyrical hooks.
