Events highlight Alumni Weekend at Washburn University

Wednesday, April 154 p.m. Retiring faculty reception, Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center Thursday, April 167:30 a.m. — Wake Up With Washburn breakfast, Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center.The featured speaker is Tom Luedke, Assistant U.S. Attorney, who worked in Baghdad,Iraq, as attorney/adviser and as deputy to the Iraqi High Tribunal in the regime crimesliaison office. Luedke earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1983 and a juris doctorate in 1986. He will present “The Iraqi High Tribunal and the Trial of Saddam Hussein.” The cost is $11 for Alumni Association members and $13 for non-members.

10:30 a.m. — Reunion brunch for art alumni, Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center. The cost is $12 for Alumni Association members and $15 for non-members.

5 p.m. — Golden Reunion for classes of 1939, 1949, 1959 and 1969, Washburn Room,Memorial Union

6 p.m. — Alumni Awards and Recognition Dinner, 6 p.m., cocktail reception; 7 p.m.,dinner, Washburn Room, Memorial Union. Cost is $23 for Alumni Association membersand $25 for non-members.
