Nate had a summer full of work and golf, the latter being his favorite.

NEED AN INTRO

To the eye of the beholder, it seemed as though Nate had full summer of work.

TRY “HAD A FULL SUMMER OF WORK” OR “HAD A SUMMER FULL OF WORK” INSTEAD. ALSO NEED TO USE YOUR FULL NAME THE FIRST TIME.

Well, full as in he worked seventy hours a week. Looking past the hours of weekly work; he had very early mornings working at the golf course and late nights closing the liquor store. This allowed his bank account to look better than ever before.

Although he worked a lot, he was able to spend some time away from work by golfing two or three times a week. He also traveled to Wichita a few times to see his girlfriend.

Nate is someone who will work themselves to death if he doesn’t slow himself down occasionally.

NEED TO USE LAST NAME INSTEAD OF FIRST NAME

There were multiple occurrences this summer where Nate was on the struggle bus, but he usually always found a way to get through it.

“There were days where motivation to work from dusk till dawn was almost nonexistent, but I just remembered to tell myself that after four years of being a student athlete I was ready to make some money” Nate said in a recent interview.

EITHER SPLIT THE QUOTE UP OR MAKE SHORTER

With all the hours of work, off days were few and far between. Usually, his off days consisted of not doing a single thing until golfing in the late afternoon/ early evening.

As the summer wore on, so did Nate’s patience. He was ready to start school; looking forward to the 9 a.m. class he had on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. However, he was surely wrong. He was not ready to start school. (253)
