A Day of Transformation took place at the Bradbury Thompson Center on December 10, 2010.  It was a place where Washburn students could present their experiences with the WTE program.

The Washburn Transformational Experience is a program that was created in order to provide Washburn students with opportunities and experiences.  The main objective of the program is to transform students into a new kind of individual.  

There are four WTE programs, the Scholarly or Creative, Community Service, Leadership and International Education.

Washburn senior Katie Hermes did the International Education WTE program and spent five months overseas in New Zealand.

Hermes says that any WTE program is a great experience, especially international traveling.

Washburn Alumna Danielle Hunter did both the Leadership WTE and the Community Service WTE.

Hunter says that the Washburn Transformational Experience is a program that every Washburn University student should achieve.
