David Tiscareno, the suspect in the slaying of two Topeka police officers, was shot and killed only 12 hours after the shooting occurred. Tiscareno’s residence was surrounded by officers. He exited the residence, brandishing a handgun and firing one shot. Officers returned fire. Tiscareno died of his wounds a short time later.
