This is the 86th Annual Academy Awards, this year there are some good movies, including some that will make you say “I would love to see that again.”

Everyone’s favorite leisure activity is to watch movies and to see people earn awards from those movies you talk about to your friends about.

This is the 86th Annual Academy Awards, this year there are some good movies, including some that will make you say “I would love to see that again.”

The nominees, for the Academy Awards of 2014 are:

American Hustle with Jennifer Lawrence, for a drama movie about a con-man and his British partner forced to work for an FBI agent to push them into a world of Jersey power brokers and mafia.

Nebraska featuring Bruce Dean, in a film about a father and son bonding trip to Lincoln, Nebraska. That gets waylaid at a small town in where the father grew up and has scores to settle.

Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks, a movie based on a true story about a Captain named: Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US flagged MV Maersk, Alabama.

Philomena starring Judi Dench, in this French American comedy-drama movie telling a story about Philomena Lee’s 50 year long search for her son.

Her written by Spike Jonez, starring Joan Phoenix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde and Scarlett Johansson. In this Romantic comedy a man who develops a relationship with computer operating system with a real womans voice and great personality.

12 years a Slave starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, in a historical drama film staging in the 1853 era, a born free person who was kidnapped in Washington, D.C. in 1841 and sold into slavery. He worked on plantations for 12 years in Louisiana before his release.

Dallas Buyers Club starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, and Jared Leto. A biographical drama film, as an AIDS patient who smuggled unapproved pharmaceutical drugs into Texas when they had improving his symptoms giving them to fellow sufferers by establishing the Club from the FDA.

Gravity starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. A 3D science-fiction thriller and space drama. The astronauts involved in the mid-orbit destruction of a space shuttle and their attempt to return the earth.

The Wolf of Wall Street starring Leonardo Dicaprio, in a comedy film about a New York stockbroker who runs a firm that engages in securities fraud and corruption on Wall Street in the 1990’s.
