“Suits,” the popular legal show on the USA Network, kicked off the second half of its third season at 8 p.m. March 6, before the show began, the network showed a flashback sequence for those who missed the entire beginning of the third season, to put it simply, there was a lot of drama.

For those who missed the last episode of the first half of season three, it is important to know the show ended with Louis Litt going through his coworker’s files in the Harvard filing room. Although it wasn’t his motive, he gained access after a romantic encounter with Sheila Louis Litt’s on and off again love interest.

Louis first looked up Harvey Specter’s file and makes a crude comment then decides to look for Mike Ross’ and is surprised to find it doesn’t exist. He develops this puzzled look on his face, which made the viewer’s eager to find out what will happen next.

This week “Suits” made a comeback with “Buried Secrets.” I must say it started off a little slow but overall was not disappointing. Litt’s continuing investigation of Ross was anything but boring. Viewers also got more of a look into Harvey’s past life as a college student and surprise surprise he was a jerk.

Scottie made her appearance by becoming, with Harvey’s help, one of the new lawyers at Pearson-Specter law firm. She ends up landing guest star Michael Phelps as a new client for the firm all on her own, though.

Donna of course was her glorious self, and Ross went after a client of Nick Rinaldi, the man who cheated Ross’ grandma out of a ton of money after Ross’s parents were killed in a car crash.

The ending was most intriguing. Litt is in his office looking over Ross’ Harvard transcript to see if Ross’s grades are legit. After listing the classes and making comments he comes across something suspicious. Mike supposedly got an A+ from a professor who Harvard alumni know is impossible. This professor doesn’t believe in giving anything higher than an A-. To confirm Litt’s suspicions he calls in another associate to ask about his grade in the class.

We are left watching Litt contemplating this grade and we viewers who have watched awhile know he is now figuring out Ross’ “secret.”
