On Tuesday, May 6, Washburn students received an email informing them that the main electrical service to Morgan hall was compromised.
“Today at approximately noon the main electrical service to Morgan Hall was compromised and there is a potential that all electrical service to Morgan Hall could go down at any time,” the email read.
It states that there was no immediate danger to anyone in the building but classes were disrupted and some canceled.
The email explained that the power in Morgan Hall would be off after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, until the electrical service line was repaired.
Classes resumed at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8.
